The Advertising Specialties Institute trade show in San Diego is huge. Thousands of distributors and hundreds of suppliers. Education Classes, Wayne Brady Comedy Show and more trinket and bead samples than you could possibly carry.
I met Cheryl Dolsen, the new Account Executive at Clean Copy, and we took in the first day of education and the first night in the famous Gas Lamp District of San Diego.
The exhibit floor opens on the second day. We both enjoyed visiting each of the different booths and learning about all the new promotional products.
We left the show, exhausted, around 2:00 and headed for the beach.
We spent a second night in the Gas Lamp and Edgar and I spent a second night in Cheryl’s room instead of driving. Thanks Cheryl.
Friday morning and we finished the showroom floor and headed to Old Town San Diego for some culture before Cheryl had to catch her plane back to Portland.
Special thanks to Nora from Clean Copy for allowing me to attend the show on her industry trade number.

Glad you were able to make it to the show, since last we communicated, I thought it fell through.

You can’t operate a company by fear, as the strategy to eliminate fear would be to avoid criticism. And ways to avoid criticism is to relax.
These days nothing goes to ensure, except death and taxes.
