The RV

image

I bought this rv in Texas and drove it to Oregon, towing my car. For the past 2.5 years I have been living as an Oregon Park Host.
Living in an rv is an adventure everyday.
Your getting ready to go to bed when you hear a woop sound, suddenly you hear the water running, then you see the water gushing out onto the floor.
Run outside and turn off the water, crawl around opening tiny little hatches everywhere hunting for the leak, download the water pipe schematics, get out a flashlight, crawl under the rig and check, where is that damn leak?
Find leak, under new water heater at the “T” joint. Pack up rig, disconnect everything, take off little porch, drive to Skipanon RV, get joint replaced, reverse process.
I usually do the work on my rig myself, this repair involved removing the water heater, I really don’t like messing with the propane systems. Skipanon does a great job, charge fair prices, give me tons of free advice, family owned, cool people.
I am still making lots of improvements, currently a new set of Captain seat covers is in the works.
I posted pics a while back, here is my old girl with her improvements.
